About Rick:

Rick Kier has been operating his grounds maintenance company in Syracuse, NY since 1978. During the snow months, his company employs over 170 crew members and oversees dozens of subcontracted snowplow drivers. This adds more than 85 units plowing snow and providing ice management. Rick was a founding member of SIMA and served on the board of directors for ten years. He is now President of Forge Ahead Consulting & Software, LLC. Rick has written many articles for Snow Business Magazine and other publications.
